7/27/2016 - Meet the Intern - Taylor Cowan
So far, the intern experience has been great. I have spent most of my time in the Ahoskie office, but have also visited Elizabeth City, Rocky Mount, Greenville, and Williamston. Meeting with these loan officers and going over different scenarios and situations that they are currently dealing with has been a great learning experience.

Being an intern at AgCarolina has been a great experience for me. Most of my time has been spent at the Smithfield Branch working with the loan officers. Robert Winders helped me see the process of approving a new loan. It was interesting to see all the information required to get a loan approved. The more organized customer will make the approval process flow more smoothly. Working with Robert and see what he is thinking during the analysis portion of working on a loan has really given me a lot of insight

AgCarolina Farm Credit is currently accepting applications for the eighth class of Ag Biz Planner. Ag Biz Planner features an e-learning curriculum including financial and business planning, budgeting and other money matters essential to a farm’s success.
7/15/2016 - AgCarolina Farm Credit Celebrates Farm Credit Centennial
AgCarolina Farm Credit is celebrating Farm Credit’s 100th anniversary on July 17, 2016. In recognizing the organization’s milestone, the President of the United States shared a message of appreciation, the House of Representatives and the Senate both introduced resolutions to commend and congratulate the Farm Credit system, and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack lauded the organization’s role in American agriculture and spoke to its ongoing importance to the future.

6/7/2016 - AgCarolina Farm Credit Awards $27,000 in College Scholarships
AgCarolina Farm Credit, eastern North Carolina’s largest agricultural lending cooperative, announces 27 high school and college students will be receiving scholarships totaling $27,000 during 2016. The scholarship program is one component of the lender’s Corporate Giving Program.
