4/13/2015 - AgCarolina Farm Credit Reports Net Earnings of $31 Million in 2014
Raleigh, NC – AgCarolina Farm Credit, a member-owned cooperative, experienced another successful year in 2014. Net earnings of $31 million, along with an 8 percent increase in loan volume from the previous year were reported. The cooperative received a special distribution in 2014 from AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, the Association’s funding bank, which contributed to the record earnings for 2014.

[Raleigh, NC] The Farm Credit Associations of NC announce the recipients of the 2015 Innovative Farmer of the Year Award given by The Tobacco Farm Life Museum.
This year’s “Innovative Young Farmer of the Year” award winners are Peyton McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, and Phillip Watson. These young men have set themselves apart with equal parts commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm for their craft.

1/22/2015 - Scholarships Available from AgCarolina Farm Credit
[Raleigh, NC] AgCarolina Farm Credit announces twenty-seven college scholarships are available and will be awarded in the coming months.
The Raleigh-based farm lender has long been a supporter of young and beginning farmers and others who live in rural North Carolina. College scholarships are just one component of the Young and Beginning Farmer Program at AgCarolina Farm Credit. Ag loans, special loan programs, educational seminars, and financial sponsorships to help young and beginning farmers succeed are also provided by the agricultural lender.
