AgCarolina Farm Credit Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients

AgCarolina Farm Credit recently announced their 2024 scholarship recipients. This year, AgCarolina Farm Credit distributed over $26,500 in local scholarships to 22 deserving students, including a high school at-large scholarship awarded to high school seniors who reside in, or are connected to, an agricultural operation in a county served by AgCarolina Farm Credit, and must be a child or grandchild of an AgCarolina member.

All scholarships distributed support academic excellence, community involvement and leadership for students committed to central, eastern, and southeastern North Carolina agriculture and rural communities. Scholarship opportunities include N.C. 4-H and N.C. FFA, college students attending a HBCU or Historically Minority Serving Intuition, NC Community College students, and specific institutions such as: NC State University, University of Mount Olive, North Carolina A&T University, and North Carolina State University Agricultural Institute.
